I don't know if $50 is worth the million facebook marketplace messages you will get.

I just tell the Mexicans doing yard work around the neighborhood that I got some free stuff, if they want it and they have always wanted it.

Pretty much every single thing I've ever placed at the end of the driveway for trash has been taken same-day. At my old house, within minutes. Like if I was throwing numerous big items that required a few trips in the house, they would be gone before I was even finished going back and forth.

People like a surprising amount of junk.

Slippy, are you in the New Orleans area? Bridgehouse will take it.

We have bulky trash pick up. There are some limitations (like no car parts or something odd like that) but they'll pick up couches and such. Runs once a month. No extra cost, part of the trash contract since we went to the big green cans.

You don’t have bulk trash pickup where you live?

When I moved I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of fb marketplace to maybe pocket $100 so I just paid a junk company to come pick up a couch, mattress, and dresser. Cost me $100.

I tried Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc. None of those places here will come and pick up furniture where I live anymore. Most will only pick up small items from your home.

Okay, I'm out of the loop. Who is that in the picture. I tried doing a google search on the image, and the only links to come up were this thread and the one about In and Out Burger..

Who is that?

2nd this, check with your trash collector. Ours does 2 free a year, you just have to call and schedule it.
