UFFan is obsessed with me. Nobody is making you read my threads.

King Bob might have cracked the code…
Reading through his advice- I don’t see anything terribly wrong with the approach.
Loving the woman is a good first step though.

A good first step is to tell them to "calm down".
That doesn't work as well if you don't follow it with "You're overreacting"

My wife makes 90% of the decisions. We have one caveat, if I am involved in a decision, what I say goes. If it's wrong, gloat later. If I'm right, I expected to be right, I don't need any acknowledgement of it.

Best way to deal with them is get an Asian one that does whatever you say whenever you say it.

For some reason my wife respects me most when I tell her to STFU. True story.

Frick that. I mean yeah, within reason. If you have to put yourself in a position where youre miserable (debt, working multiple jobs, not hunting or fishing at all, etc) to make your wife happy then that shite ain't worth it.

My wife reserves unto herself the right to change her mind at a moments notice. One early morning we discussed and agreed to go somewhere, at a specific time early in the day, to do something specific. Mid-day I checked with her to make sure plans hadn't changed. I again checked an hour and a half before we were supposed to leave, then asked how her time was running an hour before. All good. I said I was showering and be ready to go when she was. 30 minutes later, I'm showered, shaved, dressed and ready to go. I walk in to the family room where was sitting, and she hadn't gotten up to get dressed. I just sat down, looked at her and she said,
“I'm tired. I had a hard day at work."(she's wfh).
I had a choice to make. I could...
A. Say, “You really work hard. I understand. Let's order in and watch a movie. "
Or....
B. I could say something showing my frustration, especially since I canceled other plans that I'd made to go out and take care of, instead.
Which do you think I wisely chose?

Tell her you love her even though you have to force the words, treat her better than yourself, and buy her a nice home.
