Stepped foot in a Chinese restaurant like this I never tried before. Immediately got the whiff of their 200 gallon fish tank at the entrance. Smelled like they never cleaned it and it stunk up the whole restaurant. Turned around with the quickness.

If loud/stupid people are also at the establishment. I know it’s not the staffs fault (unless they are the loud stupid ones) but the memory of idiots will keep me from going back

If the food is a disappointment. I guess I set my expectations high, but it seems like quality has really gone down in a lot of places

I was in an Italian place in NY during a work trip. I ordered their specialty, which was a stuffed shrimp in a red sauce kind of thing. They asked me if I wanted a side of pasta with that. I assumed a side like 4-5oz of pasta in a side dish. The next thing I know this chick rolls out a station that has a huge wheel of Parmesan and scraps it up, starts a fire inside of it and then continues to make a sauce in this wheel. Ends up putting pasta in it and plates it for me. It was $38. Just a freaking scam because no one would expect that for a side.

I got irate recently when my food was over 20 minutes late at the drive through.
Had me pull up because it was late. Then he comes out and says the microwave tapped out and they're switching. Says it will be two minutes. 10 minutes later, I blew a fuse.
I didn't yell directly at any employees, but I was doing some shouting in the parking lot. I'm not going back soon.

Many years ago, a sushi/hibachi place hit me with added gratuity for MY FAMILY! It was the 6 of us. My wife, me, and our 4 children, the oldest was probably twelve. I got so pissed! When I asked manager about it she and the others just laughed and say SOWWY IT SAY PAHTY 6. NO WE CAN DO.
I’ve never been back. Screw any place that does that. No problem at all with gratuity added, but not when it’s a FAMILY!

If the waiter/waitress has poor hygiene. One time, a waitress waited on me and the girl looked like she haven’t bathe in a week and not to mention she had powerful BO. I was absolutely disgusted and got up and left.

For me, if i get the slightest whiff that a place is owned/run by Maga filth, i wont return.. they are most likely cutting corners on the food or whatever product they sell b/c profit is always the only thing they care about .. you can usually tell if they are Maga by their attitudes, ive even been to a couple restaurants where they have Fox News on the tv… that’s a no go for me .
