Sorry to hear about your dog Will Cover, that sucks...
My weekend will consist of playing in a 4-man Captain's Choice golf tournament with a catch--we play the course backwards, as in from near the green of one hole to the green behind it. I haven't played it before so I'm unclear on the specifics, but it should be fun (and warmer than the previous days this week have been). Then I'm going to my friend's 1st birthday party tomorrow evening, and finally a Super Bowl party at another friend's. Let the good times roll

I'm smoking some pork belly right now. Going to replace our electric lanterns on the front of our house with gas lanterns. Not sure if I'm watching the Super Bowl or what on Sunday.

Dude, I'm sorry about that. I have a 2 year old lab and I cannot imagine the day that this comes for me. Dogs are the best. There for you at your lowest and highest points. And always there shaking her arse for you when you walk in. Keep your head up.

The reason you don't want to do it is because you are protecting your own feelings. That's selfish. Think about the dog's feelings. It's ok for you to be hurt and to cry about it, but it is not ok for you to prolong the dog's suffering to protect your own feelings.
100 % agreed. I'm going to do what is right for my dog. It's what every responsible dog owner should do.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I dread the day I lose my dog. It will be like losing a family member.

Update, ended up saying goodbye to my little lady. Tough day, even tougher night now.
Happy for the time I got to spend with her. Hope to see her again when I cross the rainbow.

Sorry to hear that Will. No easy way to say goodbye to a pet that grows into the hearts of a family. Sounds like you gave her the best and she returned the same to you.

Soccer game in Mandeville, pre packing house so it can be listed.

Honestly Will, wife and I are very sympathetic to your plight. We have been through the same experience. Take solace in the fact that you and your pet have given each other unconditional love and good memories that will last for the rest of your life. I’m sure she knows how much you love her.
