Ma'am your husband isn't 6' with boots on standing on a curb, on a good day. 85% of these cajuns down here aren't 5'-9" with boots-on but they all say 5'-10".

I must be the exception to this rule.
I've been 5' 8" since like the 8th grade.
never found any reason to lie about it
but I know a dude that several inches shorter than me that claims he's 5' 8", so maybe I'm actually 6'

ETA: son is a HS freshman too and 5’-5”. Hoping he shoots up this year but afraid he got my wife’s height (no pics but 5’-4” 124#s)

I'm apparently the only man on the planet who is 5'9 and claims to be 5'9. It's not exactly frequent, but I have repeatedly accidentally embarrassed guys who, when I for some reason mention I'm 5'9 say "nah, you're taller than that. I'm 5'9 and you're taller than me". And I'm like nah mate, I'm 5'9 flat... and just let it trail off

i'm 6'1 when my hair pokes up in the back but really like 6' 3/4in. I don't feel short but I do not feel tall. my wife is 5'6 and i'm still taller than her in heels so it works for me.

I recently read on the internet that men under 5’8” live on average 5 years longer than men over 5’8”
