Bps is absolutely ridiculous. I could understand all of that at a Gucci store or something like that , but not for a $50 purchase of some fishing gear.

I miss the other end of the transaction where they actually allowed you time to put up your change and close your wallet. Now they throw your change at you and start checking out the next person before I even get my debit card out of the stupid chip reader.

i hate card chips. 
its like 10x slower now for every transaction.
i used to swipe and put it back in my wallet and gather my bags at the same time the receipt was printing out.
now i have to fricking stand there like a doofus holding my open wallet...waiting..waiting...waiting for the stupid machine to change from 'dont remove card' to 'remove card now' so i can finally put the shite back in my wallet, put it in my pocket *THEN* pick up my merchandise.
fricking backwards arse shite.
its like 10x slower now for every transaction.

I'm somewhat young and this shite pisses me off - i've developed a pretty good "i just want to pay and leave" face so I don't get asked as much as I used to

The would you like to donate is annoying bc if you say no you're a cheap a-hole and if you say yes you're probably not even donating to a charity but some bs foundation we will find out down the road did nothing but enrich leadership.

This is why I love the Sams Club Scan and Go app. Scan items and pay via phone, and walk out skipping long checkout lines like a boss.
