OP getting shite but it feels like everything has polyester woven into it these days. Or heavily leans into dry fit material.

Yep, and I hate it. Flyfit tees are the way to go.

Not the undershirts you buy but a good cotton t-shirt.

Bought some this week at WalMart, but had to get an assistant.

Most is mostly polyester but she found me some 98% cotton t shirts (non white) and some 98% polo collar short sleeve, got some of them on CLEARANCE for 3 bucks per shirt!

Target may have similar but higher price and past 2X, you may be SooL.

:LSUkige:

Clothes that make you sweat more in the South should be banned. I still get 100% white all cotton boxers, but not in Merica anymore. I want "cool and comfortable" next to the twig and berries.

I'm built like granite son. I just don't want some shirt made for pencil neck incels. I want a traditional t-ahirt like in the 80s.

Low center of gravity, who cares about Track & Field when you have a lineman. You are probably an Arkansas fan bragging about your track team.

I miss the days of a normal fitting t-shirt with the correct length

I’ve been the same size for years, and have always worn a large shirt. New shirts in large are now too big, and I need mediums.

“Large” is now the old XL.

everything actually in stores these days is for fats. hence the dri-fit/ polyester blends and 8-way stretch pants starting at 36" waist.

for a nice heavyweight cotton tee shirt i like comfort colors.

turn into a belly shirt after one wash.

That's funny because every 100 percent cotton shirt I've ever owned shrinks after the first wash.

My thing is the length. I like shirts that keep their length.

I find cotton to be cooler due to it's wicking properties. Bamboo is cool too, but those shirts are short-lived, durability is a problem.

Years back in high school if you wore a white t shirt it had to be JC Penny's. Crew collar, 100 % cotton. Is Penny's still breathing?

This. I don’t dry any of my shirts for this reason.

Southern Marsh any of their seawash ones are long and the blend is awesome.

Mercurized cotton is pretty nice if you can afford it. I cannot.
