How about missing the days when T-shirts were under shirts and worn under shirts?
Now they are worn as outer wear until the colors fade and the decorative fronts are all but illegible.

I remember purchasing some nice Egyptian Cotton shirts at Dillards about 10 years ago. They were nice and soft and held up over the years. Now everything is some blend that falls apart or shrinks like my junk in the cold.

Agree. Polyester blend stinks and is hot, even in the South.

The big issue is wrinkling. I bought a polo by mail order a month ago and didn't realize it was 100% cotton. It takes 15 minutes ironing to get it anywhere near presentable. Some of the blends with cotton and polyester are the way to go.

If you buy from big box stores, yes.
You can buy cotton, hemp, or wool tshirts pretty easily though.

I hear you! Salt Life T shirts I bought -10 years ago still fit, in good shape. Ones I bought in last 4, holes around neck, really any seam, and thinning out to semi-transparency. Not about weight gain, more about shirt quality.
