I think it would be more fair to have a straight religious storytime at a public library and people can choose what they want to bring their children to.

In the months before my stroke I had put together a plan for Republican women to have a story time
Americana storytime,, Have the old ladies read to the kids serve punch and cookies afterwards read about American heroes and their childhood.

I even bought some books off of Amazon to get an idea of what the cost would be

They were like the golden books

That’s great!!

The public library should have stuff for EVERYONE. You don’t have to agree or go to every program.

One reason I don’t work there anymore.

So are you saying I can refuse business to a gay person because they are gay?

You are either:

1. stupid with the inability to discern and deal with details (good bet)

or

2. are attempting to be purposely obtuse in order to further rhetoric. The problem is the proper use of obtusity in this manner requires painting the nuance with a fine brush and better left to the professionals.

Why would I take my wife to a place like that?

If she wants to hear men with lisping voices and dyed hair, she can watch CBS Newd like everyone else.

What would happen if straight religious people who thought gay sex was a sin, immoral or whatever frequented the gay bar on the most popular night for the gay bar

The dance moves would be historic.

The cymbal person wouldn’t be able to do that to 30 people who were all there to tell the gay and trannys that they are living in sin.

This is weird.

Also, can't you say that being at a bar and engaging in activities that happen at a bar is a sin? If so, then why does it matter if they are gay or trans? Or does it matter because they are "sinning more"?

And.. If it doesn't impact your life why do you care?

How is being at a bar a sin?
How is drinking a beverage at a bar a sin?

It’s not a sin but go ahead and pull some scripture if you so chose.

I think I found the solution to the social problems we have. I’ll get some people to start organizing large groups of people to go to these gay bars and let the gays know what they are doing is wrong. Even go to the tranny shows that some bars put on and jeer at the trannies for their disgusting behavior.

I’m a straight male who visits gay bars. I usually just end up having gay sex.

Usually the people who are most worked up about gays have “tendencies”. Sounds like you need to be more honest with yourself.

It’s not really gay if you didn’t go there intentionally looking for it.

Drinking isn't a sin, but being drunk is considered a sin. Gluttony, which is over-indulging which is one of the seven sins so I don't need any scripture to try to justify what I said.

There are activities that go on at a bar that is a sin which brings up the question. Is being gay a sin? Or is the act of being gay.. as in participating in gay activity, the sin? If so, then what if a straight person has one wild night where they engage in gay activity? They might be on molly (x.. Ecstasy), things get a little crazy.. Boom, they are back in the hotel with another dude and a girl and they have a free love situation.

As a Catholic, I was taught that if you sin you have to ask for forgiveness through confession. So can someone be gay all of their life then on their death bed ask for forgiveness? For the record, its not as simple as just asking for forgiveness. You have to truly regret it and at that point its between you and god. I am not saying that's what I believe, but that's what I was taught growing up.

So what if someone has that one crazy night, it ends up being the only time they ever engaged in sex with the same sex, however; they don't regret it at all? Will they spend eternity in hell? That seems like a harsh punishment that is also given to murderers, rapist... People who hurt other people.

Personally, that's where my moral compass lies. Does your actions impact the lives of other people? Are "white lies" a sin? If it doesn't have an impact on others lives then I don't think it is (I am not saying I am right or wrong, its just what I believe). If you tell a lie that misleads a person then I think that's a sin. So if two people of the same sex has sex, does it put other people at risk of anything? At that point it becomes a "mind your fricking business, who are you to judge? situation.

I think adults doing the unthinkable with a child is one of the worst things a human can do, but.. and I can be wrong, the bible doesn't say anything directly about "an adult must not engage in sexual activity with kids". If I recall... Again, I am not 100% sure about this, the bible only talks about not having sexual relationships with a woman and her daughter. Again, there might be other things on this, I am going by what I remember. It doesn't say anything about a woman's son other than a person can't have sexual relations with a woman and with her son's daughter. It was something like that. I just remember it because that's how it at least read..
