I'll say medical billing is a prime candidate.

Radiologist will be the first Medical Doctors to be replaced.

On the other side, payors are starting to get sued for using AI for determining reimbursement issues in bulk. Will be interesting, but certainly seems like that’s where this is all heading.

IT helpdesks being replaced by AI would be huge. They’d actually be helpful and I’d be able to communicate with them

There's what AI should replace, and what it can replace. Two very different things.
Some main/low level information technology jobs might be the first. Some order/procurement and reorder point planning functions of production could come next.
Beyond that...AI has a tough mountain to climb to really be ready.

I don’t think they will be replaced, at least any time soon. They do procedures, and there is still medical decision-making involved. It’s not all pattern recognition.
But the technology will certainly allow fewer doctors to do more work.

Accountants
Are we going to do this again?
Do you know what accountants do? Do you know how much tech and "AI" already do for us as accountants?

Radiologists will use AI to be more accurate, but it's not going to replace them. They do lots of things besides reading scans.

Government worker.
Pretty much all of them.

REALTORs. We really don’t need AI to replace them, they just need to go away.

This has been a thing with BOTs for a while now. The big problem is the limited responses that they can give due to the human factor.

They already can be avoided if that is your preference. You can post on sites by owner (and offer no fee to an agent) and no requirement to use them on the purchase side either.

AI bots also can't blow you to make the sale.

You might not be aware of this, but you don't have to use a real estate agent.
No need for AI to solve this issue.

I have a lot of experience in this field trying to create bots for helpdesk support. They are helpful and they will reduce the number of calls to actual agents BUT users are often unable to explain their problem and get very frustrated with bots. The often want to talk with a real person. Users would rather a bot over an Indian agent that can't speak English worth a damn because all they can do is read from the same script that the bot can do but neither are helpful in fixing a mildly complex issue in an urgent manner. There will always be a need for real human service desk agents/techs.
