There was another book about a Chinese family with like 10 sons and each had a unique ability. Like one could suck up a whole pond's worth of water in his mouth. For the life of me I cannot remember the name of that book.

Found it. It was 5, not 10 sons

Read the Hatchet series in middle school and still submit they’re some of my favorite books I have read.
The Goosebumps series was must read at the time. Also read a lot of the boxcar children series as well.

still read this to my kids. they love it. GOAT adventure book; getting lost in the Okefenokee swamp.

I learned to read on comics when I was a kid. But when I started reading Book books, I tore through nearly the whole Hardy Boys series.
