And I don’t think that’s debatable.

Andre The Giant might debate you.

I don’t think Andre will do that now. Or anything.

Cracked me the f up when I realized this was the Hillbilly Jim on SiriusXM Outlaw Country.

Back in my day it was either WWF or NWA.

On the WWF side you had Iron Sheik, Nikoli Volkoff, Hogan, Macho Man, Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat, Ravishing Rick Rude, Greg The Hammer Valentine, Hacksaw Jinm Duggan, Hillbilly Jim. The whole story line of George The Animal Steele falling for Miss Elizabeth was great.

Then in NWA you had Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Lex Lugar, and Kerry Von Erich.

Jake states very clearly that Honky Tonk didn't use a gimmick guitar on that shot. Also, states that Honky Tonk was a legendary a-hole.

That's an understatement. It would have shattered in a million pieces if it was balsa wood.

Andre was a ladies man too and had his fair share of conquests. His character didn’t need to talk about that like Flair did though

I started watching in 81. Living in Pittsburgh, I was in WWF country.

Here are some names I haven't seen mentioned yet:

Bob Backlund
Ivan Putski
Magnificent Muraco
Rick Martel
Jesse Ventura
Adrian Adonis
Playboy Buddy Rose
The British Bulldogs
Blackjack Mulligan
Killer Khan
The Missing Link
Outlaw Ron Bass
The Great Muta
The Killer Bees
Hercules Hernandez
Billy Jack Haynes
Iron Mike Sharpe
SD "Special Delivery" Jones
Chief Jay Strongbow
The Wild Samoans
Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito

I could go on and on

I've worked off-and-on in various capacities in the business since 1989. I grew up with Jimmy Snuka's illegitimate son, and worked with JYD before he died.

Mid-South Wrestling was the shite.

If he were still with us, I would pay three figures for Reeser Bowden to record my outgoing voice mail message.

"This match if for one fall or remaining television time".

Brody/Stan/Funk/Vader/Steve Williams.

Really anyone from the NJPW/AJPW rosters of the 80s.

The meme in the original post immediately had me recall "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey, who looked like a busted-up oil-field worker a few years past his prime.
