1969 Camaro ZL1. Couldn't wait for the new edition of Hot Rod magazine to come out to see what was the latest & greatest. Couldn't afford it back then, and cant afford it today. Only 69 units were produced all with the all aluminum big block 427. For insurance purposes it was rated @ 430. But the actual number was closer to 550.

Dodge Conquest
Had this exact one. Except had Lubers on back. It was awesome till it blew an engine.
Also had " No Fear" sticker on front windshield
No freaking way. I had a white conquest tsi. Mine also had the "lubers"
Intercooled turbo manual rwd with a short wheelbase. So much freaking fun. Nice examples now sell for 30k and are very hard to find.

Classic Firebird was up there.
One of the popular guys drove an old one that had seen better days but it was still a cool car.
A different guy drove a classic Mustang which had the same cool factor despite being distressed at that point.

My Dad bought me a 1970 RS Camaro with a big block and 4 speed manual transmission when I was 14 years old. He and I, and am Uncle a year older than me, restored that car almost completely...rebuilt motor, interior, body work but only primed, never painted it. When we almost got it finished my Grandfather was thinking about selling his 1969 CST 10 Pickup and I talked him into trading even for that Camaro. I had driven the Camaro probably 5 times LOL. It was waaaaaaayyyyyyy more car than I wanted LOL. I was going to be a problem in that car. I was bad enough in that old truck.
So I had my dream car in High School....a 1969 CST 10 Longbed pickup with factory air, clothe seats from the factory and a AM radio LOL....I wish I still had it....

I've always thought the 70 Chevelle is one of the coolest and best looking cars ever made.
My grandmother had one when I was in high school in 78-79. I got to drive it quite a bit! It had power to burn and ran like a scalded dog!

I see the 300ZX Z32 gen is a pretty popular pick and is mine as well. I still think its one sexiest designed sports cars ever made.

The 3rg gen "FD" RX7 would be a really close second. Beautiful car.
