Sadly, I don't even remember.
Probably Chuy's with the wife and kiddo... but that was a while before the shutdown. We didn't eat out all that often before thanks to a toddler.

Was actually a really freaking awesome one.
Animal in Los Angeles. James Beard award winning spot on Fairfax I had always wanted to try but never wanted to go alone while there.
Had bone marrow, yellowtail collar.. a couple other things I don’t remember. Bottle of cab-franc.
Solid last meal. It was the night before they shut everything down there, so I didn't eat at all on my final day there (nerves, laziness, hangover). Came home and they shut everything down here a few days later.

I’m ashamed to say it was El Magey for lunch with my mom. My first time there. I’m probably immune to COVID after a buffet experience that close to the shutdown.
I've heard this place is awesome if you love to gorge on Mexican food.

It was surprisingly good. I’m usually skeeved by buffets, but it was all fresh & hot.

Roux 61, raw oysters and crawfish etouffee. House salad. Their house salad is delicious. Couple of pints of Abita Amber to wash it down.
Man, I'm gonna do that again ASAP.

Wed, March 4, me and the boys met a buddy at the Sports Page in Ashland VA for beer/burgers and to (unfortunately) watch the LSU men's basketball team get their butts kicked at Arkansas.
Haven't done any takeout except for pizza (Little Caesar's drive-thru). Seems like a pain in the arse.
