I know passing a bad check doesn't cause an overdose, nor does sticking around the scene afterwards nor resisting arrrest. It's almost like they didn't actually overdose. Sorry you didn't pick that up, plus I think St George passed a bad bill, not a bad check

man had his power cut of and meter pulled. Tried to get power back by using jumper cables from meter to power line. Zap!

More sad than dumb but a neighbor of mine was using a gas blower to get leaves off his roof, slipped and fell head first onto his driveway. One of the nicest people you could ever know. His wife also one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. Just a horrible situation. Died doing something he’d done dozens of times before.
Was set to retire the very next week too.

In 1998, Ivan McGuire was working as a cameraman at a skydiving school, filming students as they jumped.
One day, after multiple jumps, he mistakes the weight of his camera bag for a parachute and makes the next jump.

Two guys I knew would hood surf. One had a fast Dodge Challenger. He was driving and his friend would lay on the hood as the cut donuts. The guy fell off and hit his head on the curb. Died a few days later.
Maybe more tragic than dumb. They were both good guys, just high school kids, and bulletproof.
