I learned from my father at an early age and then scripture enforced the " trust no man" concept. It has kept me sound through several relationships over the years. I just move on.

I hate how true this is. Then after that you toss in a BOD trauma bond and its an awful situation to escape without damage.

He's a pipsqueak. A midget mentally and physically.

Likely in his mid 20s (or God I would hope so), still has a developing prefrontal cortex, and thinks he has the life knowledge to lecture grown men on grown men shite. Definitely one of those sports-obsessed goober white dudes who never played contact sports, and if he acts anything in real life like he does on here, he's for sure never had his head caved in. He's the poster child for "little man syndrome," and in real life he's probably not nearly as mean natured as he is full of piss and vinegar.

To answer the OP: it's when my father died when I was a teen and didn't prepare his estate correctly. His brothers and sisters stole millions in investments and life insurance, as well as hundreds of acres of land from my siblings and I.

That had a profound effect on shaping my outlook on life and other people, and made me deeply tribal for my people who treat me as such. If you treat me like a scab, I have the ability to go radio silent for life, and it's not out of hate, but disgust for the betrayal, and my own peace of mind. I will gladly forgive, but I will never forget. No one is too close for me to cut off, and that characteristic has a point source from the day my mother told me what they had done.

Most recently I realized a current text scam targets people who are desperate for jobs.

Trying to fleece people who have no income of their savings.

It wasn't really just one moment. I worked at a casino for a couple of years and before that had no idea how shi**y people could be.

Not a wake-up moment but I remember being in the parking lot at Tony’s and watched one of out NBR brethren empty all the trash from his car directly into the parking lot and drive away. It confirmed that the people in that area will always be a certain way because they use their own backyard as a toilet.

It doesn’t seem to go in direct contradiction of probate of someone without a will

I was 10, my father had just passed, kids at school were brutal in mocking me about it, one in particular. I got tired of it and almost choked the life out of him, I realized how shitty he and I were a few years later during therapy.

You need to lay off of him. He's the most intelligent, fit, socially aware, and wealthy individual to grace this board.

Be glad he's even willing to call us out on our many failings. He brings accountability to all, and we're better for it.

I think most of the board has a hard time reading his sarcasm and irony. But everyone needs to stop taking shite so personally.

Sure thing kid.

Acme Christian Prep 8 man is a little different than 5A public school football and baseball like we played, but being a grown man, I'm not going to argue with a child about your glory days in the year of our Lord, 2014.

Nonetheless, you're a caricature - the archetype of internet hard arse. All 88 pounds of you.
