Noah and Mason are extremely traditional names. I thought that is what the OT wanted?

I am a fan of simple names:

I've always liked two or more syllable first names with a one syllable nickname, if possible. Two or more syllables on the first name gives you a proper, mature sounding name, but you can opt for the short one if you'd like.

Ex., Joshua and Josh.

Parents that go with just the short name on the birth certificate make no sense to me. Call your kid Josh if you'd like, but put Joshua on the birth certificate.

Solid names. What's funny though is if the OT had its way, there would be roughly 7 or 8 first names in the World. Would be a mess

"Hi Bob"
"Hi Mark"
"Huh?"
"Not you mark im talking to mark"
"Oh, sorry Bob"
"What"
"Not you Bob, im talking to this bob"
"Oh, this conversation is all jacked up"
"You rang?"
"Not you Jack"

If there is anything worse than naming your kid ---yden, it is downvoting every post in a thread because your kid is named ---yden.

My sons middle name is on the list but his first name is not which is surprising I thought Henry was fairly common. He does have two Jace (s) in his class, a Hayden and a Jaxon. He is the only one with a traditional name.

Few years ago I was on our town's 4-6 yr old tee-ball league board. Part of my job was to make up the draft sheets for all the other coaches. One name I kept seeing over and over was "Cayden". The really amazing part was all the different ways parents spelled it. I'll bet I saw at least 5 or 6 different spellings of that one name.

What Louisiana parents are naming their kids:

Actually...

LA Top 20 for 2015. # to the right represents the amount of births for that name and sex in the year. Ex., 294 male Noahs and 321 female Avas in 2015 in Louisiana.

1 Noah 294 Ava 321
2 Mason 278 Emma 293
3 Liam 265 Olivia 256
4 Elijah 253 Isabella 193
5 William 230 Harper 186
6 Carter 227 Madison 186
7 John 225 Aubrey 179
8 Aiden 213 Avery 174
9 James 206 Amelia 171
10 Luke 200 Sophia 169
11 Jaxon 198 Mia 159
12 Michael 196 Chloe 142
13 Logan 179 Abigail 139
14 Jayden 175 Caroline 136
15 Wyatt 174 Ella 136
16 Jacob 173 Brooklyn 134
17 Ethan 169 Lillian 130
18 Gabriel 169 Paisley 130
19 Joshua 169 Layla 127
20 Jackson 166 Charlotte 126

While Aiden and Jayden are overrepresented in LA, and Jaxon makes an unfortunate appearance, Wyatt showing up @ 15th should be a pleasant surprise to some on this board.
