Ryobi for all my cordless. So easy and convenient and more than good enough for anything you need for around the house.

I started with US made Craftsman about 20 years ago.
Slowly migrated to Snap On, but now I have a major Cornwell fetish.
If you can stop the Cornwell man, it’s highly recommended- about 30% less than Snap On and the quality is legit.
For anyone who says the Snap On, Cornwell, Matco, Mac stuff isn’t worth it- I have some original Craftsman ratchets that are slap worn out with 1/2 the use of the Snap On stuff and they are still going great.
For the ladies who want to get someone a great Christmas present- 1/4” drive Snap On rotating head ratchet- it will quickly become the most valuable tool in his box. About $125 bucks.

They swap out old ratchets with rebuilt ones that could be in garbage condition. I ended up just getting a rebuild set for my last ratchet, because the one they tried to give me looked like it had been drug behind a truck

A good friend of mine use to say Black and Decker was complete shite, but at the time he managed a hardware store that only sold Dewalt products.
DeWalt is owned by Black and Decker, so your friend is clearly an idiot. And the old B&D Professional tools were fantastic! I still have a few I got from my cousin. These things are probably 40-years-old. They were used daily on the job and still work perfectly.

Milwaukee for power tools and
Klein for screwdrivers and nut drivers
Craftsman for wrenches sockets but that will prob change to the HD or Lowe’s brands like the 30th 10 mm socket I bought

Lowe's sells Craftsman now. Paint your most used sockets neon yellow and orange. You won't lose them, and you'll know which ones to grab

Doesn't matter anymore. It's all made in China nowadays.
Milwaukee has a manufacturing plant right here in the Ms delta in greenwood. One of the main reasons I use them

We still use my Father's table saw (1948) Delta Rockwell, his Delta band saw (1960ish), and some of his hand tools (I had his Porter Cable router rebuilt when Porter Cable was still in the US and we use it as a edge finisher and leave the big routing to a Bosch.
In New Oreleans, I trusted R.J. Marchand to tell me which brands would fit my level of use because they knew the projects we were doing.
Paslode framing and finishing nailers from 30 years ago, and two generations of Fein multitools (and before they were multi).

Rigid for most of my power tools. I love my Skill worm drive saw though.

Desalt, Bosch, and anything on sale that’s worth a crap.

Ryobi. They are cheap so if they get stolen, lost, or broken not a big deal.

Black and Decker
Fun fact: DeWalt is a brand founded by Blacker and Decker. It originated as the commercial level of tools for B&D, but all parts and and designs are B&D. There used to be a mid-tier line of products (I believe B&D Pro) but DeWalt sales continued to dwarf it so they canned it.
