I can't defend this part. This was a job he worked during college and a few years after. I just heard him say a few times that nothing was as good as DeWalt and in a conversation once, someone mentioned how they bought something that was black and decker and he made a comment like "black and decker is complete shite".

And this was... hell. probably 15-20 years ago. FWIW I never put much value in him saying that.. I have several Black & Decker products. My dad use to do a lot of woodwork so I have all of his tools, which are mostly craftsman. Craftsman was his go to tool brand and snapper for law mower, chainsaw, weedeater. We still have an old edger that is a snapper...
