The worst part of your stay will be cleaning up those first 3 poops.

It's like black tar toothpaste.

might want to bring a small extension cord. Sometimes the plugs can be far away

If you are at Woman's we were told this is discouraged and they will send the child right back to you the second the baby is showing hunger cues.

My niece stayed in the room with my sister. They discouraged the nursery unless there were complications with the mom.

My niece actually kicked off her lojack device. It was funny to see the nurses scrambling.

CODE PINK!

I've been in hospitals several times when babies "go missing" from the nursery or birthing unit.

5/5 times it was false alarm, but man, they shut that shite down! Doors locked in the entire building besides ER entrance.

I was in shock when my dad had a procedure a few years ago. I went by after work to visit him in his room. He said, "Mikel!!!. Check out the fridge. They giving me two beers a day as part of my medication!."

My mom was livid, calling him a drunken jackass for letting them bring him beers b/c he said he drank about a 6 pack a day on the reg.

The cans had sticky labels on em with Rx information. I was crackin up laughing as I popped one and chugged it. Mama was about to lose her shite on both of us after that.

Best advice I ever got for packing was order a couple of very long phone charger cables. The outlets in those rooms are in weird spots and nowhere close to the bed or chairs.

They rarely give it to people that just drink 6 beers a day.

Usually reserved for hardcore alcoholics that have severe withdrawals that could be lethal/harmful. We're talking people that will drink the hand sanitizer to get their fix.

But that is pretty damn funny they let him do that

Yeah our facilities cover the labels with a "prescription" label

RIGHT!. He had no DTs or anything. He was just a 70 yr old man who drank beers daily in retirement.

It was a frickin hoot to us and my mom was downright embarrassed by it, even fussing at the doctor saying "His old arse don't need those beers!"

Cup-a-Soups. Seriously; when you get tired of chips and candy bars and the cafeteria isn’t open it’s good to have something hot to eat. There is usually a microwave around you can use.

I'd like to see how much the insurance company was billed for that "medicine," would probably be wondering why at least a lap dance didn't come with it

Don't even bother. Just tell whoever is coming to see the baby to bring a few burgers.

We're at risk for a C-section because she's got slightly high blood pressure right now and is a very petite lady and the baby is predicted to be 9+ lbs at full term

My wife is small, about 5'4" 115, and she had our son the old fashioned way. He was 9.6 lbs. Her doctor was like, "yeah, sorry about that, didn't think he was going to be over 9"

I brought a couple of those portable back up batteries with the usb plugs and my wife really liked them. Our 2nd is due next month and she has already said to make sure and pack them again.

When we were trying to get pregnant, at first, for a couple weeks it was a lot of fun.

Then it turned into my wife raping my lifeless body 3 times a day, for weeks on end
