Chimes East was conveniently out of oysters on a Tuesday a few weeks ago...all day half off for raw...
The OG Chimes doesn’t even do half off anymore. I’d been taking advantage of that deal for 15+ years I think

Burger King on Pinhook tried to tell me they were out of nuggets once but there were about 6 live chickens running around right near the drive thru speaker.
I said, “well y’all just not trying now” and pointed to the drive thru speaker.

Daphne, Alabama Whataburger in August. We went for lunch and they were out of almost everything. No fries, no onion rings. I think the only side they had were apple slices. They only had one size of cup. I think they may have even been out of cheese for the burgers.

Normally I would blame the restaurant for oversight, but it is insanely difficult to procure items right now for an extensive menu. Many of the large scale national suppliers and manufacturers are getting hit hard with supply issues, labor, and transit. If you can’t see that, you’re neither the brightest nor sharpest crayon in the box.
We aren't talking about extravagant, special order type items. Most of the examples are simple items that any local grocery store would carry: Ketchup, buns, pasta, even hamburger patties.
If you are so shitty of a manager that you won't even walk next door to buy ketchup or buns, rather than wait on the Sysco truck next week then you suck.

Was this in England? Always seems that the Brits don't know the recipe for ice.

I pulled up to a Popeyes once that was out of everything except biscuits, dirty rice, and coleslaw.

Back when I was in school there was a church's chicken near my house. went by one day after class to grab lunch and these fools were out of chicken entirely. This was at like 11 am. I asked how you run out of the one thing that your brand relies on. She didn't have an answer.

Stopped at a McDonalds one night after work, and was told they were out of patties and buns.
What's the two items you order EVERY damn day?
Patties and buns.

It is that easy. You can make it hard, if you want. But it's that easy.

Restaurant in Monroe, Louisiana...... I think their water had been cut off, no ice or metal silverware since they couldn't wash dishes

It is an issue when it comes to liquor though. I can't get crown and patron in on a regular basis. It is actually illegal for me to go to the store and pick it up for me to sell on premise. Most places don't give a shite. Who does? fricking Total Wine
Can't you just not tell them what you are buying the liquor for? "Oh, this is just for a party"

Murky Waters has all the Crowns in stock…

The one time my folks took us to the Rusty Pelican in Long Beach, MS, someone left to go get groceries as soon as we started ordering. I don't think they had a damned thing to eat in there. Dude came back with extremely basic shite like a loaf of bread and lettuce.

Once went to a Dunkin Donuts at 6:30 am, and they were out of… donuts. Apparently the night crew who makes them no-showed.

Burger King drive thru in Winnfield had a hand written sign on the speaker box where you order. It said "we out of meet"
