I never loved playing guitar. It was ok. I didn’t hate it.

I learned guitar because I used to love to sing.
But my voice isn’t the same anymore. I feel like I can’t sing anymore, so I don’t bother playing guitar anymore.

Typing. Figured I would need it when they were predicting everyone having home computers eventually. Most useful class I ever took in high school.

Don’t think I would have learned it as well as an adult. You’re trapped in a high school class and forced to do it correctly and graded on speed/accuracy.

Never did learn numbers. Always looked at the keys for those.

How to wire a house. Father and grandfather were electricians and they'd take me along as a kid during the summers and I eventually got to the point they could leave me at a framed in house with the schematic and the needed supplies and I'd wire that whole sucker by myself by the time they returned at the end of the day. I could run everything to the fuse box and then they'd tie everything in together there.

Never got paid a dollar for my efforts but I definitely learned early on I didn't want to be an electrician, which I suspect was the point they were trying to make to me.
