Worth a watch later today if you have time.

quote:

Attorney Marilyn York owns a Men’s Rights Family Law Firm in Reno Nevada, established in 2001. She and her ten female employees focus on representing men for two reasons: 1. As her talk explains, fathers are crucial in the upbringing and development of their children; and 2. Fathers are the disadvantaged parent in family court and society and while the laws are improving, the statistics are not.

quote:

According to the Center for Disease Control, children from fatherless homes account for 90% of homeless and runaway children; 71% of high school dropouts and 63% of youth suicides.

A big part of what's wrong with society today is the de-emphasis on the value of fatherhood. Children with a strong father present feature higher physical and mental acuity. They are more curious about how things work. They are generally healthier and better behaved - but American laws do not value fatherhood as much as it should.

Most OT posters are men between the ages of 20 and 45. You should give this a look if you have time today.

Feminism would have us believe that women could do it all. But you can’t replace a father’s protection and guidance.

Nah, we just glamorize sex with no regard to the responsibility, and look for programs to be the ones to support all the single baby mommas

All part of the evil LBJ’s “great society”

Remove the father as the protector and provider and create dependence upon the govt.

The govt is the enemy of the family

I think the larger issue is the de-emphasis on marriage in general. Especially when you have two people jumping into marriage who had no business being married to begin with.

Look at "popular" shows right now. How many of them that are kid friendly feature a strong father figure? Im talking like Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince. You just dont see it. Any of them that do have fathers on the show usually portray them as idiots or always deferring to the wife or even having her "fix" things around the house because the husband is too much of an idiot.

There really is an attack on fatherhood out there right now.

Sorry. Can't be present for our kids when someone's wrong on the internet and must be called out for it.

our kids may suffer, but the internet as a whole will be a better place for our efforts

Racism - and exclusively racism - are why African Americans are falling behind every other group in the US. Pointing out that there could be other influencing factors is just more evidence of racism - if those arguments are factually accurate like yours.

That's an understatement. They actively reward single mothers.

No prospects in life?
No desire to get an education or job?
Cant hold down a relationship?

BECOME A SINGLE MOTHER! And the government will pay you indefinitely.
