WWII Service on Celluloid - sponsored by the WWII Museum, it’s about war movies and how realistic they are/aren’t.

Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History.

Really interesting episodes, but man, I just cannot get past that guy's accent.

Me neither. One of the ones i listened to even recommended this guy but after 2 eps i had to give up. Seemed like quality info though.

There is a podcast “Stuff You Should Know” that has some interesting topics, but it’s the same way. It’s hard listening to the people who do the show.

When I started listening to it I was thinking “this is gonna be dry as frick, like reading the dictionary” but he does an amazing job of making it interesting and tying it into history and making you go “huh, that’s neat.”

Louder With Crowder and The Ben Shapiro Show. I also am trying to get into Jordan Peterson’s. Each episode is just so long, and I hate not finishing something.

spot on

I was thinking, 'oh I'll give this a try and get a little educational nuggets out of it', but then I realized that guy does a very good job making it entertaining. Every episode I usually pick up something new.

I also do audiobooks from the library system so I don't get into a ton of podcasts.

Two very solid choices! I almost wish that Dan would edit his stuff down, but it only comes out once every six months so maybe not.

LpoL is a must listen for me as soon as it comes out. Love their humor and deep dives into the nerdy shite that I find interesting.

I started listening to this a week ago, it’s pretty interesting. He used to be an officer in Livingston / professional polygraphist and his stories are mostly from around this area.
