What makes cell phone stores seem trashy?

They are normally clean and modern but when you are in there it is like you are being coated with a trash film. Is it the groups of customers slobbing around trying to figure how how they can finance their next phone for low monthly payments since they can’t afford to buy it outright? The impression that the company is trying to hustle you?

With AT&T you can order online and have it delivered to your house same day* for free. Skip the store all together.
*They say it is same day, but mine took a couple to get. It was right around Christmas though, so they may have been busier than normal.

There is usually a certain section of society in there trying to haggle down the clearly stated prices. As stated, I just order mine online.
