I have been married for 47 years and we just bought our third refrigerator - Bosch - and it is amazing. Comes with 2 compressors.

Don’t get one that has plastic tubing for ice maker etc if you can help it .... mine has busted twice flooding the kitchen

Same here, been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks waiting for the new compressor to come in, 2nd one in 2 years. Ice maker has never worked right. There is now a class action lawsuit against LG for their crap refrigerators. DO NOT BUY EVER!!

LG french door, with the door in door feature. It's a great fridge and love the door in door, but going from a stacked fridge/freezer makes the fridge seem super small on a french door model

Samsung sucks. Bought ours from HH Gregg before they went belly up and it immediately started shitting the bed like it knew that happened. We've had to repair it twice, the ice maker is garbage, it's noisy and the door shelves break if you breathe near them.

Don't do it, baw. We got one a while back that lasted just over 15 months. Of course it had a 12 month warranty
. My parents had one that lasted just under 12 months. And my best friend got one that had to be replaced twice in 2 years. LG appliances suck. That said, I have a GE (don't know the model) that has been solid for 3 yrs now. Seems all new appliances are made to be disposable and replaced in 5 yrs these days.
