Director of Construction for a residential construction company. Love it. Been in the industry for about 15 years. Everyday is a different challenge and I work with amazing people.

I was a plant safety manager for 15 years. The money was good but I hated everyday for the past year or so. Just got tired of putting out fires and dealing with union workers and management. Recently started as a risk management/safety consultant. I am able to still help keep people safe but now I help with solutions to issues, but it’s not my job to implement them. Low stress and I make more now than I did as a safety manager.

I own a bread route. I hate it but it pays really well. My wife has been sick for two years now and we have a young son so I’ve gotta keep grinding. But I’m tired.

Teach:
Love:
Working 185 days a year
Getting off a 3 everyday
Never having to think about work outside of work
Get to work on my jumpshot
Don't Love:
The monotony
Being stuck at the same place all day
Starting to get tired of dealing with the kids

Yeah well I’m not worried about what a bunch of random dudes on a message board thinks.
Bunch of fat bodies anyway.
As an LSU alum (2000), I can meet anyone of the aforementioned fat bodies at LSU Rec Center.
There, I can pay ten dollars to do more muscle ups than whoever is there.
We can talk about my undergrad or whatever else comes to mind.

Prior law enforcement. I don’t miss being a cop but I miss working homicides.
I’ve since transitioned to tech. Overall, I’ve enjoyed it. Starting a new job in a week, and it’s a massive opportunity. Really excited for where it can go.

You're going to go all the way from Oregon to LSU just to try and impress a bunch of random dudes on a message board? Sure, sure.

Hate my profession and the way it is headed as a whole, but love my current job

Project manager. Love it. There will always be projects, forever. And I also love the interaction with my team, which extends for years - exceeding decades in some cases. It is a great career in the right company.

I work at a college as a janitor even though I feel like I’m smarter than most of the people that go there.

Outside sales in AR and West TN. I mainly love it because I get plenty of time to myself listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks. I guess the only things I dislike are not having a consistent paycheck. I make plenty though, and it doesn’t fluctuate too wildly.
