I got this 54qt Igloo last month for about $55. I decided to go cheap this time after my 65qt RTIC got disappeared from my truck. This cheap igloo doesn't keep ice as long but it worked well enough and its much easier to move around. Who needs ice for 6 days anyway? If I get 2 years out of it I'll be satisfied.

1985 Igloo max cold I paid 19.95 for it.
I’ve replaced the hardware. During the last hurricane it went toe to toe with my yeti. It is half the weight of the yeti.
It has been everywhere with me from the gulf to alaska.

I'm a Yeti kind of guy. I probably have 10 different various sized hard and soft coolers.

20 Qt K2 and then a 50 & 75 qt. Ozark Trail, or as I call them the "walmart yeti".

Did a side by side comparison a few years back and the Walmart version held ice better than the Yeti.

Several years back I put an igloo sticker on my truck. I hope I got a chuckle from few people.

The Yukons are fine. I bought a couple Yetis a couple years back and I probably never have to think about this question again.

I use RTIC, Yeti and Cater Gator.

For the best value ($ + Space +ice ret) Cater Gator.
Yeti has its place. But it’s just expensive. How much value do we put on holding ice another day or two? and is it worth it?

Depends if I have to carry it somewhere. Im not lugging a heavy arse Yeti to the beach. I dont care if it will hold ice for a week. I want one that will keep my beer cold for 6-8 hours.

On a overnight boat or camping then a yeti or something similar.

I think my beach one is a 60qt igloo with wheels.

I have several yetis of various sizes but dont use them as much as i thought I would. The damn things weigh as much empty as the igloo does with beer in it.

I have had a lot of luck with Magellan from Academy. Ice holds up and It keeps everything cold for 3 day roadtrips..
I also have a Coleman 100qt for fishing. It’s a lot lighter and block ice holds up well.

My little K2 20 is used consistently. Granted I don't have a good larger one. I do have some bigger igloo ones but there're just shite. Lids don't close well, drain plugs are broken, lids don't stay on, the damn retractable rolling handle can't go all the way in. Yeti, K2, RTIC, Pelican, Yukon, etc. are expensive, but they will last a lifetime and hold ice for that lifetime.
