Simply not true. Even if you seen an elite athlete, but regularly lift weights and eat in order to gain muscle mass, your BMI will be off

I saw this regularly when I was a trainer and my current body type fits that as well. I’m certainly no elite athlete.

My normal range is 133-179. That's a pretty big span, and it goes from Africa malnourished to normal people

I'm a 31, but my abs show. This doesn't work for my body type.

25.1. I was thinking I needed to lose about 10 lbs to be my ideal weight, so it adds up for me.

Ok so it is estimated that less that 20% of the population and 25% max of males actually lift weights. Less than 20% of those actually train instead of just going to do a few machines. So....a Max of 5% of the population this doesn't work for.

Like I said....mother frickers talking about bmi doesn't work for them when 95% of males can't do 5 legit dead hang chin ups. It works for greater than 95% of the population.

We have just gotten so far as a society that fat is now considered normal and obese is overweight.

I'm 6'2" and weigh right around 215. It says that at 145 pounds, I still would not be considered underweight. That is why BMI is a crock of crap.

My ideal weight is right around 200-205. Less than that, I start looking like Christian Bale in the Machinist.

No...no you don't. It's fricking insane what you and others consider underweight. Problem is you have no muscle mass at all, so all of the sudden your fat 16" arms go to 13" and you freak out. It's because you are fat ??
