What is the OT opinion on sipping spiced rum?

I actually like making rum into grog and drinking it like a beer/beverage rather than sipping.

My $30 bottle of sipping rum is Zaya. I prefer sipping the high end Tequilas so I don't spend a lot on the better rums.

Rum is a mixer, in fact it's the king of the mixer. Sipping is for whiskey.

I don't enjoy sipping any liquor. Shots occasionally, Jameson, Jager, Rumple, even the occasional Tequila. Give me Michelob Ultra/Miller Lite and the occasional craft beer and I'm good.
