Garage fridge is a ‘98. It was my parents’ main side by side until they remodeled. Still kicking- I just put a thermostat alarm in it after their 5 year old spare fridge/freezer bit the dust and we had steaks one weekend to cook what was almost ruined.

Washer/dryer is 2006 and it will be a sad day when they die. I wanted a front load when we built in 2008- I’m so glad my wife talked me out of it.

My grandparents re-gifted me their GE can opener they got on their wedding day back in 1961

It works flawlessly

There's an Avocado Green art deco style fridge in the barn at my grandparents property.

Survived a fire. Replaced the cord. Came back to life. Wrote a damn song about it. Local band even picked it up

My parents’ spare fridge was the harvest gold top freezer model that they moved to the store room when they remodeled in ‘98 and bought the side by side that’s currently in my garage. They hated it right after they bought it- there’s no room for anything for a functioning family. It’s great as an extra fridge/freezer for cokes/waters/capri suns and for storing meat and freezing leftovers, but it’s not practical for everyday use. I can’t believe they still sell a side by side fridge/freezer.

1. Got a Patton 20” floor fan that stays on 24/7 (except when it’s really cold) It’s probably 29 pushing 30y/o.

2. Maytag drier that’s at least 20y/o. Makes all kinds of weird noises when you first turn it on but after about 45 seconds it gets quiet and runs like a top. That thing refuses to die.

My grandparents only owned 1 refrigerator their whole life. When my grandfather passed and my grandmother went to a nursing home it was 58 y/o. It was a G.E.

1950’s - I think 1952, but would have to open it up for the exact year, Sunbeam T20 chrome toaster. Was my grandmother’s. It is badass! Very retro vintage sleek looking.

I have a toaster that looks kind of like the 1950's. I bought it used in the early 80's. I bought my fridge new from one of those appliance store that used to be on the SW of Airline and Florida Blvd. in 1997.

It looks like they are both gone now. I moved the fridge to FL with me in 2001. Still going.

Washing machine. It’s about 35 years old. But that’s why it’s still working.

My wife is the second oldest appliance.

I have a garage fridge that’s about 40 years old. I used to do business with the housing authority (the projects) and they were replacing appliances. I bought two old refrigerators for $50 each. Very basic, freezer door on top, metal rack shelves inside. It’ll probably outlive me.

We have a GE electric cooktop, dishwasher and built in oven that are all original..so 19 years old. No issues with either but I want to replace them as they’re really dated.

Up right freezer I got when my dad passed that is 40+ years old. Have to de-frost it once every couple of years but it won't die.

Our furnace was original to the house built in 1975.
Still worked fine until we updated the whole system a couple of years ago when we spent a ton of money on the house.
