I haven’t been able to mirror any game on ESPN from my phone or iPad for several years. .As soon as the game comes on, it cuts out. Heard this was happening to everyone and that it was an ESPN thing to cut down on unauthorized access. Glad we can stream it all now....

Two words: Sylvia Fowles. In Syl’s early times at LSU, it was said that she was “too nice” on the court. She had to learn to get tougher, ( in part because she is in fact a fantastic sweet person.) That’s not her. She was black, had reddish brown looking shoulder length hair. She wasn’t young, but not old either- I know - that part isn’t helpful. LOL I’ve never been good at guessing people’s ages. Now I KNOW this wasn’t her, but they named her again afterward, and it almost sounded like Mavis...

Such a talented young woman. God, she could play! She also wrote a book about her life, “It’s Not What It Seems”. She had difficult beginnings and accomplished much. I’ll never forget her beautiful smile. Fly high, sweet girl! ...
