I'm not sure for myself but would guess that it would be one of the times that I skipped breakfast and then ate as much as my body could handle at one of those semi-upscale Brazilian places for lunch.

-2 footlongs from subway - weed is cool
-10 pc fried chicken from popeyes + med fry and biscuit - on a dare
-2 double quarter pounder large meals - weed is cool
-2 medium dominos pizzas - weed

I haven't smoked weed in 8 years. These are all from another lifetime

One particular night at Panchos on Florida back when I was 14 or 15 in the mid-80s. That flag went up again and again.

I consumed about 8 large rolls of sushi in one sitting. I was ashamed of myself.

being thin allows for the stomach to expand. Most of the best competitive eaters are thin.

This wasn't something I ate but I was at the table. My coach in HS arranged a dinner with a bunch of LSU players. Anthony "the freak" Johnson ate 40 ounces of steak in one sitting. It was absolutely incredible

College days.

We had a Petro Stop that had the King Of The Road special. All you can eat chicken fried steak. With a salad buffet trip and French fries. Probably made it through 3 steaks before.

We also had a Waffle House that had a special menu and all you can eat “buffet”. Basically 75% of the menu was available and you just kept ordering off of it until done for a set price. Was at an odd time. Like 2pm-5pm only.

How much time between you first started eating this and when you were finished? 23 slices of pizza then 2 subs at subway is a lot.. Then 16 hotdogs?

25 cent wings at the Buffalo Phil's in Mary Burke Hall on the UA campus back in college. I probably had 8-10 lbs of them

Entire 18" Rotolos sweep the floor + a handful of wings and a chocolate chip brownie with ice cream. This was after weeks of extremely strict dieting. Such a freeing experience.

ETA: Amounts to about 6200 calories. Not bad.

I know this, but when they compete, they usually have to start preparing days in advance right? I am sure they have to eat light then make sure their stomach is completely empty before going into it.

As as the best competitive eaters being thin, isn't one of the best a small asian woman? For some reason, it seems like I remember seeing her doing the 4th of July hot dog eating contest one year.

I was once at hooters with a buddy in college watching a ufc fight... we got drunk and spent the whole night ordering massive orders of wings and challenging each other to keep going.. I contemplated calling 911 that night

After HS football practice many years ago, several of us went to an all you can eat wing joint. I ate something like 45 wings and felt like hammered shite afterwards. One of our offensive linemen ate 84.

72 Oz. sounds right. The one in the movie The Great Outdoors was "The Old 96'er".
