As a teenager I was in a boat with a man who shot a person who was standing at the edge of the water.
I ask for serious and ridiculous responses.

I was with both of my paternal grandparents when they died. I was with my mother with she got the news that her sister had died suddenly. Emotional for us, not so much for anyone who didn't know them.

saw a drive by go down in hollygrove before jumping on earhardt.
guy walking with his 3 year old daughter was gunned down. Jumped out of the car to try and stop the bleeding, but he died holding my sibling's hand.

I may not have seen it in person, but watching that plane crash into the tower, seeing people jumping to their death, and the towers falling down is something I will never forget. The amount of people we saw die right in front of us, and on live TV in front of the world, is hands down the most emotional thing I've ever witnessed.

Early that morning my friend and I were fishing. The shooting victim and his buddy were drunk. They threatened to kill us and tried to snag our boat by casting lures at the boat. Our jon boat was equipped with a trolling motor only and the drunks had a ten horse which they used to chase us. We barely escaped and ran for help. The farm caretaker was a WWII veteran ( Gene) and he armed himself. All three of us got in the boat and found the drunks, who threatened us again. Gene stood up in the boat and fired.

A white male held a door open for me at work this morning.
I. Was. Literally. Shaking.
He was basically saying "you can go in here, but only because I am letting you." I felt so ashamed, naked, and vulnerable.
