Two O’clock Bayou

Spent my Youth on Two o'clock Bayou , Bayou Courtableau and fishing the basin under I-10. Traveled many places since then but these places are really beautiful compared to anywhere in the U.S. much less Louisiana.

Bingo. The Chandys are, at the very least, one of the most wild places in Louisiana. It’s like Jurassic park out there when the birds are screaming. Of the many places I’ve been in Louisiana it’s the one that makes me feel like I’m in another world.

From a Gump that's traveled through the boot quite a bit over the years I've been infatuated with the Basin since the first time I saw it. It looks ab solulety amazing from 10 and I'm sure only gets better the deeper you go.

I've always wanted to just grap a GPS and tear out in there fishing and exploring but after having watched Southern Comfort I'm not so sure.

I bet the Chandys would also be amazing.

[quote]Between Minden and Ruston. That area is beautiful, imo.[/quote
Years ago I found a hundred acres for sell in central Claiborne Parish. Had a field and a 5 acre pond at the bottom. Was on one of the highest hills in Claiborne. You could see for miles. Guy changed his mind about selling because "Carter had made the dollar worthless."
