About 70 hours. Injector head came apart on top of a well outside of McComb, Ms. Spent all those hours on location working my arse off in a man lift on top of a live well with pipe in it fixing that damn thing. It was stupid and dangerous. I should have told the company man where to shove it.

54 working nights in Chicago. Woke up at 3 pm on wed, worked all night, laid in bed watching youtube videos all day instead of sleeping, worked all night again, drove home from Chicago arriving about 7pm, went to bed at 9. Not that bad actually.

The worst stretch was about 10 years ago. We had a new baby and I was getting about 3 hours of sleep a night. I got a call around noon asking if I could fill in for someone on a hot shot run. So after sleeping 3 hours and working all day, I left Baton Rouge at 7 and drove 14 hours to drop a motor off at a coal mine in WV the next morning. As soon as they got me unloaded and handed me the paperwork I headed back home arriving a little after midnight. The drive home was absolute hell.

A little over 72 hours. I have insomnia that got bad in college and for obvious reasons noone wanted to give a college kid sleeping meds. It was fricking torture I wouldn't wish on anyone... around the second day the body aches and hallucinations start....it's hell

When I was a student at LSU I worked nights at OLOL or Baton Rouge General, so it was probably 72 hours or so. The hallucinations are legit; I was standing with a buddy and said,"man do you smell that fresh baked bread? It smells so good!" and he had a 'WTF' look on his face and I knew it was time to go to bed. the body aches are no bueno. When I was in school the Pennington center was looking for volunteers for a sleep deprivation study- nope to that.

Three days. It was the summer of 2005, I was bored, didn't have a job, and so I wanted to see if I could go the whole week without sleep.

Three days in the military. Was raining entire time with the temps between 36 to 42 degrees. Couldn’t get dry, had guys falling asleep standing up. I finally started hallucinating.

They really are....I would probably look insane to an onlooker cause every few seconds I had something sneak into the corner of my vision and startle me

Yeah, I subconsciously watch down the hall to my boss's door while I'm at the computer, and on the second day of no sleep, I start seeing something exiting that door constantly. For some reason my left eye will see more of that stuff than my right eye.
