No cash offer. The organization was locked into the purchase. Worked out well though. My recent HS grad son drives it. It was tough to handle that tax year. It was like buying a truck at 70% off.

I scored four tickets to a WWF live event in Baton Rouge and a Demolition t-shirt in Summer 1990 by calling into WGGZ 98.1 FM.
Ironically, I would see Tito Santana and Mr. Perfect, arch rivals fighting in the night’s main event, arrive in the same car before the show, thus exposing the wrestling business to my young eyes.

In 2006 I won an electric cooler/warmer shaped like a basketball for correctly guessing a question about Shaq on 98.1
It might have been able to hold 6 beer cans. Never used it.

I’ve won lots on radio call ins. Trip to beech mtn for 4 days was probably the coolest. George strait tickets, Kenny Chesney tickets, Eric church, hawks and Braves tickets probably 8-10 times, $100 gift card, nascar tickets in Atlanta three years in a row, Pink Floyd cover band, and a couple more.

I used to win stuff all the time.
I had my phone set up with the radio station numbers showing up first if I went in the reverse direction.
