I won a lucky ticket twice at an LSU baseball game back in the 1990's. First time, I won a Tshirt and a second time, Mike Koerner hit a double and I won an autograph baseball signed by the team.

$1000 in visa gift cards for 1st place in the chi chi’s hormel super bowl display , then a year or so later in a summer bread contest my store got 1st place and won a free cruise, really nice room huge balcony… the travel agent upgraded our room and even left like 150$ on our account, it was cool but we’ll never go again, I can’t imagine paying for that.

In 5th grade I won the entire catalog of Zoobooks for collecting the most pinecones for the Audubon Zoo to make some kind of bird feeders out of. Pretty much the only thing I’ve ever won.

When I was 10 years old or so my (God Sent Sainted Grandmother/best person I've ever known) entered my name for a free helicopter ride at the Ruston, La Walmart.

When I was an lsu student at lsu in 2011 they have out scratch off tickets at a basketball game. Everyone with the first 4 numbers got brought to the court of the PMAC at halftime. Mike the tiger pulled out the final number and I won $1,000 and got to watch the rest of the game from the floor. Was a pretty badass experience.

At the time a Dan Mullen autographed cowbell. I mailed it to my gator friend tho... It was via Twitter of who your favorite msu player was and 100th tweet got the prize

I’ve got a buddy that’s won a 2-week cruise and a Slingshot in separate contests. I don’t think I’ve ever won more than $5 on a scratch-off.

When I was a kid I won a trip to the Holy Land with some church group in a drawing at our hometown bank. I filled out a entry while momma was in there one day doing business. Think I was about 9 years old. This was around the time of the Iranian hostage crisis. Of course she didn’t let me go on the grounds I’d be kidnapped by Iranians or PLO terrorists.

$5,000 in a 2 month big trout tournament held by Marburgers sporting goods in Pasadena, TX. 9 pound 2 ounce speck. Guy that beat me had one that was over 9 1/2 pounds and caught it on last weekend of tournament. He won a $20K boat/trailer. This was back around 93. Was in the Houston Chronicle leader board for 2 months in the outdoor report by Bob Brister.
