I won a puzzle games book in a drawing at a Pizza Inn when I was around 7 or 8.
A bar I used to go to would sometimes have a drawing at midnight for $100. Sometimes they would rig it for regulars. I won that one time when they rigged it for me. I was going to leave early, but a friend kept trying to talk me into staying. I wouldn't stay so he finally told me I was going to win the drawing. I didn't believe him but ended up sticking around just in case (I was poor as shite then, a hundred bucks was a lot). Sure enough I won it.

I texted a number on a random ad at the table at WalkOns when my food was taking a while. Several months later, Walkons corporate calls me and says I won tickets to the independence bowl in Shreveport. Nothing wild, but during my holidays off work anyway so why not?
Sat in the Walkons suite with the owners, executive team, and their families. Sat with Billy Joe Tolliver who convinced me to cancel my dinner reservations and go to Superior Steakhouse instead.
Walkons also gave me along with the tickets a $500 Visa gift card, lots of swag, and gift cards to the restaurant.
Used the $500 Visa card to fully fund the NYE party we had 3 days later.

I was on a roll about 10 years ago. I won a couple IPads, IPod, flat screen TV, trip to Vegas, Sadly, that came to an end. Oh yeah, in 8th grade, won a car battery.

SLU use to have the paper airplane contest during halftime of the basketball games. Mine landed directly on one of the 100s... Paid off my fraternity dues that night.

A free raffle for a puppy at a school carnival, when I was in 4th grade. That was an awesome dog for the next 13 years.

Sales taxes were payed by the organization. Received a 1099 and had to pay income tax on 33,000. Cost me about 10 grand.

Nothing special but i was pretty proud that i won a radio contest for concert tickets by naming 7 NCAA teams whose mascots do not end in S.

Won floor seat to the Pelicans/Celtics a few years ago.
Won $5000 in the first round of scratch off tickets Louisiana ever had. Bought it at the circle k by the chimes in the early 90’s. Really helped a college kid out.
