They don't plan anything in advance besides large holidays. They get annoyed because we have to tell them no a lot because we either have plans already or the timing doesn't work with the baby's schedule.
Relatively minor complaint. Otherwise, I fit in better with my in laws than my own family

That they are selfish. They have the health and means to travel to see their grandchildren but never have.
My oldest will be 7 on Wed. They have never been to our house. She has seen them 3 times and we had to go to them.
It’s really sad and really pisses me off.

That they live out of state and we only get to see them 2-3 times a year. My in-laws are awesome.
Then again, only seeing them 2-3 times a year could be one of the reasons they’re awesome.

Thank god my wife is nothing like them. She doesn’t really care for them at all. I understand her feelings.

No real complaints with my mother-in-law or father-in-law. Father-in-law can get a little chatty when he's been drinking, but I've learned to tune him out.
Brother-in-law is awesome. No complaints. His wife though can be annoying. Mostly because she caters to her family and always throws a wrench in planning holidays because we end up having to plan around her and her family.

MIL enters my locked house with a key and comes into bathroom while I'm shitting.
She has done this over a dozen times.
FIL has done it a handful of times also. Wife will not say anything to her parents.

They no longer would have a key to my house after the first time. And if my wife gave pushback, it would flirt with grounds for divorce.

My FIL is kinda quirky..... has to have an exact plan for everything. Other than that hes good people. My mother in law is one of the sweetest ladies to walk the earth.
