What is something normalized now that you believed was a scam when implemented?

-Credit scores started in 1990
-Smoking in-doors ban
-Seat belt laws
-Gold standard ended in 1971
-de industrialization and reliance on China began in the 1990s

The bigger scam IMO was the "smoking section" separated by a partition that was only 4 feet off the ground that people just rolled with for years.

Our Cracker Barrell is so old that the glass is still there between the lattice work that split the smoking section back 1/3 from the non-smoking front 2/3 in the dining area.
