What is going on with highway gas stations and rest stops. Are restrooms open?

Wife and I will be trekking up to Ohio on June 1 to visit our son and grandbaby. (She is 8 months old and I have not seen her since Christmas.)
Hopefully by then most places will be open, but has anyone had any difficulties finding a place to take a piss? I was in Bay St. Louis for a little while last weekend and could not find a public toilet between here and there.

I traveled from Kansas City to Arkansas a few weeks ago and had no problem finding a place to stop.

Nope, not open. Your only options will be to pull into a Love's and knock on trucks until you find a trucker who will let your wife climb into the back of his trailer and pee in an empty Gatorade bottle for either $5 or a quick flash of your wife's tiddys
