When faced with a sickness like a bad cold, does she (or he)

A. tough it out, you hardly even realize they're under the weather. keeps on working, carying on their lives as best as possible, remains upbeat

B. will miss work, but actually does what she can around the house, but tries to make sure you don't get sick, too. May even get more done than usual, since she skipped work.

C. Goes to work, yet comes homes and crashes moaning and groaning about how terrible she feels, immediately goes to bed and does nothing else around the house.

D. Will blow off work and lays in bed acting like she has the bubonic plague making sure everyone knows that she is sick, essentially a living hypochondriac.

Mine is probably a "C".

SO is usually a D for a few hours but then she makes her way to B-C territory.

I’m an A

She usually tough it out but tries to make sure our daughter doesn't get sick too.
Me on the other hand get really sick only once every few years but when I do I am a total bitch about it and piss and moan until I'm better

I'm A minus the upbeat part. I'm sick so what the frick is there to be upbeat about.

Wife is C. She still goes to work but after work she's in bed and says frick it about anything else.

Same here.

I don't get sick often, but when I do, death is imminent.

“A” but without the upbeat part. She’s a clean freak and I’m not, so, she has to sweep and do laundry. After that, she bitches.

You wouldn’t know I’m under the weather. I may say something, but I hate being pitied by anyone.

My wife is A.

For me? D. Is there a more pathetic version of D? Like an E or F?

None of those. My husband very seldom gets sick. But when he does...he just wants to be left alone. He won't tell me how he is feeling unless I ask him.

Which as a nurse....drives me crazy. I want to go in total nurse mode and just pamper him and make him soup and fetch whatever he needs. Instead...he just wants to sleep a lot and drink a lot of water to stay hydrated.

My wife is 100% opposite. Upon the unfortunate rare times I do get sick, she will amazingly somehow immediately come down with some ailment that is twice the pain as mine, thus I am still left fending for myself, lung barfing and all.

I haven't missed work in 7 years but I'm a bitch when I'm sick. Unfortunately I get sick on the weekends or vacation. My wife is a trooper and gets sick during the work week and I avoid her like the plague
