The bread isn’t as good now.

Jimmy Johns has passed them by and I don’t see it slowing down. Jimmy Johns also has drive thru which opens up a completely new revenue stream.

Subway is the worst. I will never return to one if I can help it

suddenly crowded market of sub shops

The burger market is over saturated, the chicken market is over saturated, poke and sushi have been over saturated for years. Better question is, what’s not an over crowded space?

I haven't been to Subway in years..The first slip I noticed was the Tunafish..It was fresh tasting then went to shite..The bread was the next thing..If I am going to do unplanned fast food it's not going to Subway.

Just had Jersey Mike’s. It’s now firmly in my rotation alongside Corner Bakery and Potbelly.

Inga’s was the shite by LSU back in the day.

They are way over saturated, cheap processed meat. Remember when Blimpis used to cut the meat off the rack right in front of you.

Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way, but it irritates me that places like Firehouse and Jersey Mike's make a more premium hot sandwich but still serve it with a cold bag of chips. Wish these places would learn to make some fries.

Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse, and even Publix happened.

Even Jimmy Johns and Quiznos are better and those suck.

Went to one in Mississippi and the only bread they had was flat bread, and that was at 11:00 a.m. To top it off, the guy before me ordered teriyaki and the worker apparently thought I wanted the same, so she put some on my flat bread. I told her I didn't want that so she scraped it off, leaving sauce on the bread and then proceeded to make the sandwich I wanted. BTW, I didn't want flatbread either but it was the only thing they had! So, I'm thinking, poor logistics, poor training, and worse employees at SOME of their restaurants could account for their problems. In all fairness, I have had better experiences at others.
