The liberals don’t care the kids are dead. They jump straight to guns. Certain things dominate headlines to whip voters up in a frenzy. Certain factions will care about these singular issues the most. So abortion not dominating doesn’t mean there isn’t a strong faction of baby killers under the guise of choice. Or you don’t hear so much about Ukraine but there still are people heavily invested $$$ in that. I still see Ukraine flags.

Roe/Casey outlaws restrictions on abortion prior to the point of viability, which is generally marked at just before the end of the second trimester, but has become a major point of contention.

And not really, because you would still be wrong

Eta: Now that I’ve seen exactly how you went back to edit your post, yes, that would now be a correct characterization

Both sides jump to their talking points when this happens

Yeh. I’m only upset about the mass murder of children depending on their age, or how many of them are killed at once. Before a certain age, the ability to kill them is an unarguable human right, and as long as it’s just a couple kids a week killed in our inner cities I don’t give a shite either.

Great mindset.

This is such a weird fricking melt…

Will you just admit that you’re pissed that the headlines aren’t all currently “potato bad”?

This political bullshite "the liberals" "the conservatives". No one cares about your theories. You don't know who cares the kids are dead? You think all liberals don't care while all conservatives do? If so you are an idiot.

But there has been 3 mass shootings in 2 weeks and I think some of the changes are reasonable. Like moving the age limit to 21 to buy an AR15. The only reason that something that shouldn't be that big of an issue doesn't get done is because of those who receive money from gun lobbyist. Those congressmen don't give a frick about guns, they only care about the money they get from gun lobbyist.

Stop being idiots and arguing about the shite that doesn't matter. The two party system doesn't work, it just keeps people in the blind and they use stupid shite like abortion to divide people.. And both parties contradict themselves when it comes to abortions and guns.

I think republicans and democrats in DC are all equally stupid and I have not mentioned political affiliation or even taken a party stance once in this thread. There are plenty of pathetic people and policies to go around in DC.

People who insist in seeing every problem though the lens of two party politics tend to be short sited morons.

I’m not melting. I’m amazed at the state of our society. The hypocrisy and relativistic cognitive dissonance we display daily is so ridiculous it’s almost impressive.

95% is a lowball estimate

have you read up on the suspect in Uvalde? (i won’t say his name). what difference would have 3 years made to this sick frick?

no friends. no father figure. drugged up mother. lived on the internet. angry at the world because he was picked on because of a lisp and he wore makeup. he didn’t seek counseling or help. he has never been arrested. he was an unknown ticking time bomb.

Also, the guy who shot up the Vietnamese church and the NYC Subway shooter - both waaaay older than 21. Do those mass shootings not count?

I’m not a tin foil hat guy. But it’s amazing how these tragedies occur at certain points in the political/media cycle.

To make my point clear, I have two young children and I have zero fear of them being shot at school. Zero.

But I completely understand why this has gripped the nation. It’s freaking horrific.

Perfect narrative for gun control and defunding the police who they are claiming watched this unfold.

By that logic, should we have let him buy the rifles at 15? What difference would it matter?

I’m not decided on age limits, but that’s just not a logical argument.

Elections coming up and there is a rush to create mass shooting drama so viruses are so last year at this point.

Pushing gun confiscation is the real go to maneuver during upcoming election season

Who knew that all it would take to unite the morons on both sides is a Mexican tranny killing 20 4th graders.

Local cops are bad, federal cops are good. Turn in your guns, vote blue, and most importantly.... DO SOMETHING!
