Honestly the candy cigarettes were some of my favorite candy as a kid.

Mine too. You can still get them, but they are candy sticks now.

Everything about them was awesome. The little box. The little red tips. And of course that cheap sugar taste.

I liked trying to make them last... but it was nearly impossible. I also enjoyed pretending to smoke. My mom started buying me the real ones when I was 12... but I still loved the candy ones too.

In a world of terrible candy those in the orange and black wax wrapper, circus peanuts, and black licorice can only be topped by the horehound. This is all the candy my grandmother ever seemed to have, unless you wanted a menthol-eucalyptus halls cough drop instead.

I actually love all of those, lol... but what is a horehound?

Sour patch. Hersheys assorted. Ring pops, blow pops, full size snickers, hersheys, m&m, and Reece’s cups. Takis, blow pops, and too much other shite that I can’t see because it’s buried.

An excellent old-fashioned candy. Hard candy. Funny name, good candy. I only had it from the hard candy section of the old Lost Mountain General Store in the 80's.

It’d be tempting to hand out candy cigarettes just to see the parents’ reaction.

Small hard candy. I would describe the taste as black licorice with a hint of sassafras. Basically old people candy that requires an acquired taste.

I haven't had a good butterfinger since the 80's. They all now have a texture like they've been sitting in a warehouse for 20 years and don't have the crispiness.

They altered the recipe several years ago and royally fricked it up. That's why they taste shitty now.
