Breathing
All kidding aside, cut way down on sodium, a lot less red meat, and no caffine.

I'm in bed an usually asleep by 8 and up around 4, atleast 8 hours of sleep is very important. This routine plus going to the gym every morning has improved my life by leaps and bounds.

-making the bed
-opening curtains/shades every morning and closing them back every night
-I try to do at least one active thing every day. Doesn't matter if it's mowing the grass, walking the dog, or doing an actual workout, just something active.

Also, I am really trying to work on developing a more "Don't give a frick" attitude about meaningless things in life
Try reading the book "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a frick"

There are some great books by Ivy League folks that are easy reads and teach how to meditate

Full Catastrophe Syndrome
Wherever you go, There you Are
2 by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
He's a brilliant person that teaches "Mindfulness" at MIT, but really can relate the material to laypeople.

Just daily gym visits or are you doing a program like Crossfit?
Just 5-6 days a week of traditional strength training and light cardio. Sometimes I'll step the intensity up to crossfit levels. I find it's better to have a healthy balance and mix it up.

I just finished that book-It seems like everyone in it mentions meditation as a must for their daily routine.
My thing is to use the 10-15 minutes after I drop off my kids at school before I get to work as my quiet/prayer/worship time. Just really get into a mood of thankfulness and appreciation for this life. Patience is something that I tend to struggle with-this helps a ton.

I was a heavy coffee drinker for most of my adult. Haven't had a drop in 4 years and feel great.

I had my cell phone ringtone set to the Trailer Park Boys intro. I cringe everytime I watch the show thinking some client is calling to bitch about something

Showing up for work before almost everyone else and staying until I'm done what I wanted to get done. There is this one hot chick that gets to work before me every day

Years ago I figured out that there is always a way to take a nap everyday at work and if not effect work. It makes my energy stay high and gives me a boost in the middle of the day
