All are very good points.
That said, yeah you, your spouse and things change, but that doesn't justify "then you get divorced." You grow with each other; you put the work in and you strive for success inasmuch as the word means regarding marriage.
I'll never give an unwarranted opinion about anything so personal as divorce unless asked, but if I am, I'll never talk in favor of divorce "just because," or "we've just changed," etc. I've worked way too damn hard to achieve the same exact thing that millions of others married couples are working hard for at the same time: staying married.
We all have the capability to do it, so don't give me your trifling bullchit on why you're different than I and millions of others, because you're not. It devalues the work I and mine have put in. (I don't mean you literally btw.) We work to stay married because we love and care about each other, but also because of not wanting to fail. Nobody sets out to be a failure at anything; otherwise we wouldn't set out for it all.
To answer OP, I think the answer is, "All of us are to blame." The magnitude of the situation at hand when getting married is downplayed, and the sanctity and hard work of it all is stomped upon by society as a whole.
