Shoot 'em all! (This leads commenting group "b" to start arguments about how the coyotes/foxes were here first and we've encroached on their land, and you shouldn't let your dog/cat out if you care about it anyway.)

This thread motivated me to reinstall the app. I miss the days of laughing at neighborhood fruitcakes whining about people still having Christmas lights up on January 7 in such an "upscale neighborhood."

I just edited my original post to add:
ETA: I forgot about the grainy pictures of the "black panther" captured on surveillance video in someone's driveway. Someone said it was a jaguarundi, a few people said it was a bobcat even though it had a tail in the pic posted.

Did you see that one and do you remember what ever came of that?

Our neighborhood grocery store was bought out by Robért and the busybodies will not give it a rest even though it’s been like 2-3 years and the new store is awesome.

Every so often I post “sorry you’re poor” or “sorry you can’t afford it” and then log off and never come back to see the melt

I have never understood this brag.

"Look! I just paid 4.99 for a bottle of ketchup at Robért." I could have gotten it for $2.49 a mile down the road, but...Robért."

I'm like, "You see my new boat? That $500 a month extra you give Robért for groceries? I send it to the bank as a boat payment."

My favorite on mine was a woman trying to get everybody to boycott a certain Mexican restaurant in town because apparently one of the employees called her a fat bitch in spanish. Since it happened to be my favorite Mexican restaurant I posted their happy hour specials. She didn't like that.

She must be a dumbass.

I would have called ICE and then posted the video of them hauling the work force out of the joint.

Mostly my neighborhood bitches about fireworks or asks when Trader Joe’s or Costco is coming.

The fireworks complaints are always “my neighbor has PTSD and the fireworks are making him crazy”

Just a minute ago I saw a brown curly haired woman sprinting down wisteria in a black and white shirt with her wallet in her hand. She didn’t appear to be jogging or running- she seemed frightened. Anyhow just wanted to put that out there Incase something weird happened.

I have to admit I'm curious too,, were you more proactive than just reporting this to Next Door??

Chuck, next door isn’t a place for any sort of community activism. We’re here to complain about our neighbors, ask about helicopters, shut down garage sales, and wonder where our cats went. And if you’re lucky, post about how someone could have the chutzpah to steal your laptop out of your unlocked car.

NextDoor has taught me that every single person who has ever served in the military in any capacity has PTSD and that no fireworks should ever be set off within 5 miles of any of them. Doing so makes you an insensitive, unpatriotic ISIS loving monster.

I love watching the aftermath of Debbie arguing with Barbara on there whether they heard gunshots or fire crackers at 2pm on a Tuesday

I get the standard stuff, except for one old geezer and his wife. They live in a neighborhood of 5 acre lots. One of their neighbors has a 20-something son that rides a dirt bike (With a bad muffler) from about 8 pm to 4 am.

I am not sure why it is mentioned every time, but they are seniors, living on a fixed income. This seems to increase the db's they hear every weekend. They always seem to call the sheriff's dept. and have a deputy show up about 3 minutes after the guy stops riding.
