Broccoli or cabbage

I was in my late 20's before I started trying it. Now I like it and eat it all the time. The smell is what I guess had me turned off.

I ate pretty much anything. I didn't care for meat sauce spaghetti, chicken friend steak (disliked round steak), and chicken and dumplings (didn't like the texture). I ate them but they were not my favorite and still are not to this day. I did eat beets, turnips, cabbage, mustard/collard/turnip greens, any and all peas and beans, etc...

I could still smell them on my plate after they were removed.

Not allowed in our house. I tried that move with some Hot Sausage, after about a 15-minute standoff, my dad dumped some BBQ sauce on it and said eat it now and walked off. Struggled through every bite and never tried that shite again. Just got up and grabbed the BBQ sauce anytime I didn't like something.

My brother tried the allergic move on something. My dad went to the medicine cabinet and put the Benadryl next to him and said "I'm ready if you have a reaction"

Not me, but when I was a kid, my dad hated pizza so we rarely got to eat pizza unless it was a birthday or something special. Now, all the kids are adults and he loves it and he and mom eat pizza quite often. Always makes me mad

Too many to recall. I still am a picky eater but will eat more just because I recognize it's healthy for me. Like I'll eat some vegetables, but I don't like them. I tolerate it. I wish I was different. I still have no idea how people crave a salad, or green beans or something. I force myself to eat it, I don't get any enjoyment out of it.

Onions were a big no for me until adulthood.

I still hate to eat cucumbers and uncooked celery or tomato.

Pickles. I could not stand them, especially on a burger. Don't know why because I would eat most anything else. Today I'll give into pickles on Cuban sandwiches and maybe on an oyster poboy for some reason. But they have to be sliced....and few of them.

I got altitude sickness when I was 4. They had fed us spaghetti at ski school that day, and I threw it up all afternoon.

I didn't eat spaghetti again til I was in my 30s. Still dont like it.

Raw onions and greens. Like greens now but still don’t do raw onions. Cook with them constantly though.
